Course Info

This is the course designed for Companies whereby a risk assessment has ruled out the 3 day First Aid at Work course. In addition to the subjects covered on a standard HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work course, candidates will undertake additional teaching time in order to cover Heart Attacks, Stokes, Head Injuries, Fractures, Burns & Scalds. Companies may wish to include these additional subjects on their 1 day course.

This decision would have been made having considered:

1. the number of people employed
2. the type of injury that could possibly occur

• Managing an incident • Basic hygiene/Use of barriers • Recovery positions • Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation • Wounds / bleeding • Minor Injuries

Certification

Successful candidates will be awarded the Emergency First Aid at Work PLUS Certificate, which will be valid for 3 years.
