A comprehensive First Aid course for the treatment of children & babies, ideal for child minders, teachers, nursery and playgroup staff, carers etc. As required by 'OFSTED'
Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate of competence in 'Paediatric First Aid Training' which is valid for 3 years and a paediatric first aid manual.

Planning for first aid emergencies, Managing an incident, Resuscitation, choking, croup, asthma, febrile convulsions, epilepsy, diabetes,fainting. unconsciousness, recovery positions, shock, wounds & bleeding, burns & scalds/electric shock, fractures, head/neck and back injuries, poisoning, anaphylactic shock, effects of heat and cold, sickle cell, meningitis, aches and pains, objects in eyes/ears/nose, bites and stings, first aid kits and recording of accidents/incidents.
