This is a Health and Safety Approved course designed for Companies whereby a risk assessment has ruled out the 3 day First Aid at Work course.

This decision would have been made having considered:

  1. the number of people employed
  2. the type of injury that could possibly occur

  • Dealing with the unconscious casualty
  • Choking
  • Shock
  • Seizures
  • Managing an incident
  • Basic hygiene/Use of barriers
  • Recovery positions
  • Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation
  • Wounds / bleeding
  • Minor Injuries

 

Certification

Successful candidates will be awarded the HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, which will be valid for 3 years.
