Electrical Industry First Aid - Course Overview
This course helps electricians develop the awareness and hands-on ability needed to respond to medical emergencies in electrical working environments. It focuses on the immediate actions required in the early stages of an incident, supporting candidates to manage a casualty safely until a qualified first aider or emergency services arrive.
The training reflects the risks commonly encountered in the electrical industry, helping participants make fast, effective decisions in high-risk situations. It also builds confidence in recognising emergencies, providing initial care, and supporting workplace safety during critical moments.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is ideal for establishments that already have designated First Aid at Work trained first aiders in place and want to provide additional emergency response training for their electrical teams.
It's an ideal option for all electricians and apprentices who are more likely to be with the casualty at the most important time, and until the arrival of the qualified first aider or the emergency services.
