Sports Injury First Aid - Course Overview

This training is designed to help learners respond to medical emergencies during sporting activities, providing immediate care until a qualified first aider or emergency services arrive. It focuses on the most common injuries and incidents that occur in sports and physical activity environments.

Learners gain practical knowledge in identifying medical emergencies and treating typical sports-related injuries across a range of settings, including sports fields, gyms, and outdoor activities. Training covers everything from sprains, strains, and fractures to CPR, managing heart-related incidents, controlling bleeding, and applying bandages, helping participants feel confident to act during critical moments.

I just wanted to pass on how much all the staff who attended enjoyed the excellent Defib training yesterday with Rod. We all found it interesting, informative and extremely well taught. Thanks to Rod, we all feel very confident that we would be able to deal with an emergency situation that required either CPR or use of a Defib. Many thanks

I took part in your one-day first aid at work course today at the golf club Aldridge, and I would just like to say that I have done many first aid courses in my time but the one I did today was absolutely fantastic!! The two gents that hosted the course were inspirational and I can promise you we will recommend your company to everyone that walks through our door! I feel for the first time ever, after a course that I would be confident in doing all I could in saving someone's life. I walked out wishing I did the 3-day course, Thank you again and see you in 3 years!!

Brian & Mick were excellent ! They held my interest by giving a confident presentation and with added humour. They made me feel at ease and well informed. Will definitely recommend. (Lunch was lovely too - I'm calorie counting and there was plenty for me to choose from.)
