Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Updated October 2022
We continuously review government and industry guidance to ensure we offer the best possible COVID secure training. The dedicated Government website for coronavirus can be accessed here: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.
The government has removed the remaining domestic restrictions in England. There are still steps you can take to reduce the risk of catching and spreading COVID-19:
- Get vaccinated
- Let fresh air in if meeting indoors, or meet outside
- Consider wearing a face covering in crowded, enclosed spaces
For a course at your venue:
-
Use the largest room possible to conduct the training and limit the number of people to the minimum required, not surpassing the maximum allowed and If possible, use a space where the doors and windows can be opened to let in the fresh air.
For a course at your venue and ours:
- Inform Learners to bring with them their own pen and notepad for taking notes.
- Inform learners to wear suitable clothing, especially if the windows and doors are open.
- Inform all learners to sanitise their hands on arrival before training and regularly throughout the day.
- Send or show Learners the videos below on how COVID-19 spreads and how to wash your hands:
How is Covid-19 Spread, and how do you protect yourself against it? - 90-second video
How to wash your hands - NHS - 44-second video
Our responsibilities:
We are following the latest joint guidance provided to us by the First Aid Quality Partnership (FAQP) and the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum (FAAOF). Both groups have regular meetings with the Health & Safety executive relating directly to Providing Safe Training.
